Mike Berlanga has spent his entire career helping Texans navigate one of the most confusing and unfair systems in the state: property taxation. As a rare tri-licensed CPA, Real Estate Broker, and Property Tax Consultant, Mike brings unmatched expertise to the conversation about tax reform—knowledge no other candidate in this race can offer.

Born and raised in San Antonio, Mike learned early that God had given him two talents: the ability to calculate and the ability to communicate. Those gifts shaped a lifetime of work dedicated to helping families, business owners, and communities understand their rights and protect their financial future.

For decades, Mike has:

As Comptroller, he will bring transparency to Austin, protect property owners from abusive taxation practices, and lead the effort to eliminate school property taxes permanently while expanding true universal school choice.
